Low Pressure System in North Atlantic Meteosat 9

A sensor on the Meteosat 9 geostationary satellite acquired this image of Earth on July 1, 2010. The false colors help reveal weather patterns, including a low pressure system swirling in the North Atlantic (toward the top of the disk), with its frontal system sweeping across the British Isles.
